"Damaged order and promises not kept"
My order arrived damaged, getting it sorted was such a hassle. They said they’d get back to me and sort it out quickly, but that never really happened. I had to send photos, wait around, and then keep chasing them because the replies were so slow. It felt unfair having to do all the running around for something that wasn’t my fault. Definitely wouldn’t buy fragile stuff online from Briscoes again.

"Delivery cost put me right off"
I was all set to order from Briscoes, but the shipping cost at checkout was just too much. The items weren’t even big, so it felt hard to justify. It’s frustrating when the sale price looks good, then some automated checkout system tacks on a delivery charge that basically ruins the deal. Ended up closing the page and not buying anything. Really annoying

"Great for grabbing deals during sales"
Well... I usually shop on Briscoes NZ when the big discounts are running, and I’ve had good luck so far. I found a kettle and some towels for way less than I expected, which was a nice surprise. The promos are easy enough to spot, and the extra checkout code worked for me without any hassle. Not every single item is an amazing deal, but plenty of them are. "Trusted enough, but not perfect"
I’d say I trust it overall. Not blindly, though. There were a few moments where I had to pause and double-check things. Nothing major, just enough to notice. Most of the time it did what I needed, and I felt okay using it. But yeah… not perfect. Reliable enough, just with a few rough edges.

"Usually in Stock, but I Felt Overlooked"
They always seem to have what I’m looking for in stock, which is great. The products are sweet and reliable, but the last time I was there I kind of felt ignored by the staff. I stood around for a bit before anyone acknowledged me, so that took away from the experience a little.

I ordered a few things from Briscoes the delivery took way longer than it was meant to. The tracking barely updated too, so I was kind of just sitting there wondering where my stuff was... The items were totally fine once they finally arrived, but the waiting around was annoying.

I ordered this expecting it to match what was shown/described, but what arrived was the wrong item. The wording in the listing feels really misleading, because it made it seem like I was getting something different. Frustrating and definitely not what I thought I was paying for

"I picked up a few home bits…"
I picked up a few home bits from Briscoes and overall it’s been alright. I was expecting the quality to be a bit more consistent, especially since some of the items looked really good in-store. A couple of things have been great for the price, but one towel set went rough quickly after a wash, which was a bit disappointing. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, just not as good as I’d hoped. I’d still shop there again, but I’d definitely take a closer look at the quality before buying next time.

Checkout itself was fine, I guess, but I got annoyed quickly when I saw how few payment options there were. It worked in the end, but I don’t really have the patience to deal with limited choices when I’m just trying to pay and move on.

"Pretty decent visit overall"
I popped into Briscoes last weekend, the store seemed clean from what I could tell. The aisles weren’t messy, and there wasn’t random stuff all over the floor, which was nice. The layout was mostly easy to work out too, I found the bedding and kitchen sections without much hassle. A few of the sale bins were a bit crammed, but I guess that’s kind of expected during a sale. Overall, I’d say it was a good shop and a fairly smooth visit.

I usually check Briscoes first before buying kitchen stuff anywhere else. The prices are often cheaper, especially when there’s a sale on. I’ve picked up a few things for, uh, way less than I would’ve paid at other shops. Happy overall.

Ordered from Briscoes and had to return one item. The refund did come through in the end, but it was slow and I found myself checking my bank a few times wondering what was going on. Not a total disaster, but the whole process kind of felt like it works when it wants to. Could definitely be quicker...

"Feels like nobody’s listening"
